After Darkwatch Hour rising 3  Amstern Chesney - Steel Legionnaireby Darcwulf, Staff Writer Palanthas - The surprising revelation that Emperor Markham's spokesman Amstern Chesney is a Steel Legionnaire has shocked the citizens of Palanthas. Shock and surprise reverberated through an already troubled Palanthas when it was revealed that the recently rescued spokesman for the Emperor, Amstern Chesney is a Steel Legionnaire. "We'd received an anonymous tip-off that Chesney was not all that he seemed, that he was in fact someone dangerous to Solamnia, possibly the one behind the Blue Partisans," said Warwick Poole of the Freemen. "So we investigated. We tailed Chesney with great difficulty, I doubt we could have managed to keep track of him if he still hadn't been suffering from the ill effects of his time in captivity. After making some effort to conceal his destination, Chesney met with a large group of Steel Legionnaire's and to our surprise, took charge. He was clearly a ranking officer and well respected by the Legionnaires." Most Palanthian's had previously considered the modest, unassuming Lord Chesney as a capable if somewhat silly dandy, this revelation has surprised many but not all.
