Sage-Master Seeks to Vindicate Name

Mount Nevermind - Sage-Master Gnufflessagebookreader, master librarian and chief archivist of the Library of Mount Nevermind (pre-Cataclysm section), today has offered to sponsor a 'well-armed and capable' group of adventurers for a period of no less than 3 months.

The group will be used to assist the Sage-Master in his field research, although where that research would be the Sage-Master refused to say.

This isn't the first time that the Sage-Master has come into the public eye. One year ago, last Reapember, the Sage-Master almost lost his position within the Library due to some what some of his peers says are 'fanciful' and 'totally illogical, fireside stories'.

The Sage-Master had proposed that a locally famed, legendary hero of Kharolis, Bieder Lighttouched, was in fact some sort of celestial creature.

"Bieder's tale," said Sage-Master Gnuffles, "for those who are unaware of his legend, says that the great warrior Bieder, was touched by one of the Gods of Good to aid in the desperate plight of the simple folk of Kharolis against some, un-identified, creature of darkness."

Forced to retract his statements, Sage-Master Gnuffles has repeatedly maintained that his proposal is true and that he would seek funding to further his claims.

"Though I was forced to retract them at the time," said Sage-Master Gnuffles, "I now retract my retraction. I will use these stuffy old gnomes own methods to prove what I say is true."

Parties that are interested will need to apply to the Sage-Master before the last day of Brookgreen at his Mount Nevermind office.

Adventure Hooks

The heroes apply to the Sage-Master's office and are put on a waiting list. If they are truly interested then they will have to find a gnomish means of cutting through the red-tape and expediting their applications.
