Elves Flee Silvanesti!

Nethosak - The elves have fled the ancient elven homeland of Silvanesti.

The elves of Silvanesti, faced with the Green Dragonhorde, consisting of savage barbarians, an equal number of monstrous draconians and flights of mighty dragons, have abandoned their ancient homeland. Over the past six months the civilian population has been secretly transported to the islands of the minotaurs. Led by the Silvanesti princess Alhana Starbreeze and husband Porthios Kanan, the nation's military have now also followed.

"The minotaur people will stand by our allies, our friends. What is ours is theirs," Declared Chot es Kalin, Emperor of the Minotaurs. "In 'Jolith's name I swear that we will face the savagery of Takhisis's Dragonhordes together side by side, shoulder to shoulder!" Despite his brave words, the Paladin King faces serious troubles of his own with the underground cult of the Bloodtainted which is gaining more and more influence amongst the minotaur. The Blooded as the cultists call themselves, are Sargas worshippers who prey on the fears of ordinary minotaurs promising them that Sargas's power would shield them from the fury of the dragons.

Speaker of the Stars, the Silvanesti king, Lorac Caladon was not amongst the refugees, generating many rumors as to his whereabouts. One says he is personally attempting to treat with barbarian king, Highlord Chillwind. Another says that he is planning to use a powerful arcane artifact to defend his land. His daughter, Princess Alhana refused to comment about her father, but when she arrived in Nethosak she championed a guest she brought with her. Brokenmoon, first concubine of Highlord Chillwind, Mother of the Heir had fled with her two youngest children, daughters both and had surrendered herself to the elves mercy The elves took her and daughters in, despite the fact that Brokenmoon is a powerful form of undead, a mummy and when she was met with hostility by the crowds of minotaurs the elf princess leapt to her defense.

"Where is the vaunted minotaur honor?" Alhana Starbreeze asked the crowd of minotaurs, her sharp elven blade preventing anyone getting too close. "You judge this woman by what she is, not who she is, What she is was something forced on her by the very evil we all fight; who she is - a mother who risked everything to save her daughters, is something that should be an example to us all. When Brokenmoon could no longer bear Chillwind children, he forced her to undergo the procedure that turned her into what you see before. This is how our enemies treat their woman. You all should be ashamed of yourselves!"

It was then a very angry Emperor Chot arrived his great flaming blade, Barbariansmiter in hand. The Paladin King personally escorted his guests to the Palace, where they were placed under the protection of the Silver Bisons, the Emperors personal guard.
