Third Watch rising 14 ![]() Tarsis on the Brinkby Sticko, Staff Writer Tarsis - With the failure of the diplomatic envoy to the renegade Dark Knight Sir Erik Longblade it would appear that Tarsis will break out into civil war. Sir Erik Longblade and a Talon worth of troops sits on the southern boarder of Tarsis his intentions unclear until the emissary from Tarsis spoke in person with the renegade. Emissary Tarkon only had this to say "never have I meet such a hard man to read he was deadly calm and had the look of a hardened warrior the left side of his face was heavily scared from dragon fire. But he seemed to be mentally unstable for when I offered him terms for surrender he started to offer his own terms as if he could win." The Dark Knight council of Tarsis has labeled Sir Erik and his followers traitors to Neraka and any citizens are obliged to do them harm if they are able. However many unlawful publications have sprung up in the city, stating that Sir Erik is for the people and has come to free the people from the ruthless rule of the nobility. Tarsis officials have tried to crack down on the papers but they can not seem to find there source. Even though Tarsis nobles seem to think the papers will have no affect in the new city there have already been two small riots against city watch units. Meanwhile in the country side many government shipments have been seized most of these seem to be tax carts. These hit and run attacks are becoming more frequent and the mercenary guilds now refuse any government jobs openly claiming they are a death wish. With all the internal problems rising in the realm the Dark Knights are being pressured to act though there has been no deceive plan put into place as of yet. Sir Nolan Breeze Knight of the Lilly claimed that "the troubles will die down once the council gives me permission to take the dragon flight and burn Sir Erik's Camp to ash" however the Dark Knight council is still discussing the many plans with the nobles of Tarsis. The herald has yet to interview Sir Erik Longblade on the situation. |
