Late Watch rising 19 ![]() Coma Victims Awakenedby Darcwulf, Staff Writer Caergoth - The seven dragon blood victims have been awakened from their comas. With the discovery last week of the truth of the red dragon Bloodpyre and his fiery blood, and of that ambitious wyrm's efforts to instill his body with some of the traits of fire dragons, Kingfisher Raelene uth Neulan and noted Dragonsage Tobias au'Rearsann have awakened the seven dragon blood coma victims. "Tobias and I have developed a procedure to draw away much of the chaos taint that the dragon blood had infected these people with," said Kingfisher uth Neulan. "I will be honest and say that this is not a complete cure as there will always be some of the taint that remains within them." While the procedure wasn't able to totally cure the sevens victims, it was enough to awaken them all from their coma's. "Chaos energy is what caused the creation of kender, dwarfs, minotaur and the like," said Dragonsage au'Rearsann. "We believe we have successfully removed enough from the victims, so if they do change it will be only minor." Two of the coma victims have since each displayed a unique physical change. Brad Vale, a member of Caergoth's militia who had plain blue eyes, now has orbs of fire red. "At first the other militiamen were wary," said Brad Vale. "It wasn't long though, before they needling me comments like great eyeballs of fire." Molly Baker, a young street performer, formerly had utterly black hair, but it is now a cheery orange color. "Like I'm totally stoked, you know," said Baker! "Like I was always being typecast as like, the brooding, melancholy loner. Now though I can like, play the romantic lead and all! Full of like, love and you know other passionate stuff!" The remaining five have not yet displayed any known differences, but this not to say they won't in time. In related news, unconfirmed reports have placed the renegade wyrm Bloodpyre within the vicinity of Gwynned, capital of Northern Ergoth. |
