Caergoth - This past Kirinor the marble fountain damaged recently by red dragon blood pulled itself free from its foundation and rampaged through the city.

It was an hour after sunset when a loud cracking sound reverberated from behind the tall fence erected around the mangled statue. There had been a heavy guard stationed around it, knights and kingfishers both.

"We were just unlocking the gate to investigate the noise," said Hy Eryce Knight of the sword, "When the back of the barricade seemed to explode outwards. It was the statue of Tierney, but it wasn't damaged no more. After the dragon blood hit it, the face was totally melted away and the left arm was just a blob it was ghastly the stuff of nightmares. Now it was healed so to speak, it looked as it had before, totally unmarred. It stood fairly still; it was like it was looking at us, studying us. Then someone in the crowd through a large rock at it."

The marble statue burst into bright red flame and stalked in the direction the missile had come from. The common people fled in panic at the sight, while the knights attempted to close in on the figure, but the intense heat was too great. The kingfishers in attendance tried their magic but with little success. Then the Kingfishers dragon expert Raelene uth Nuelan and the famous dragon sage Tobias au'Rearsann arrived on scene.

"We had been discussing various courses of action we might take in regards the coma victims over a late dinner when we received word of the incident," said Nuelan. "The first thing I did when I got there was to cast a spell that ruptured the water pipe that runs under the street, hoping that the water would douse the flames but it just turned to steam before it reached him. It also must have made him angry because he pointed a finger at me and released a line fire. I thought I was gone, but Tobias stepped in front of me, the fire not even singeing him."

The statue walked through the streets of Caergoth for nearly an hour the knights and kingfishers able to do little more than keep people away from harm and put out the fires. Finally the statue grew a pair of wings, which witnesses say were reminiscent of a dragon and flew away to the east. Unverified rumors, that the knighthood has refused to confirm or deny, say that Raelene uth Nuelan mounted a gold dragon and flew off in pursuit.
