Early Watch rising 2 ![]() Blind Woman Found Wandering Foothillsby Kendermage, Staff Writer Brasdel - On Bracha, a blind woman was found wandering near the town of Brasdel. The woman who identified herself as Marlana Catherwood of Thelgaard was found wandering in the foothills north of Brasdel by local trapper Daniel Pierrick. He described the woman as 'confused and out of sorts' not unreasonable given her circumstances. He told the Herald, "I was a huntin' badgers in the foothills when I comes across this frail wanderin'. She stumbled and fell a couple a times, she musta heard me though cuz she called out for help. Lucky for her I happened along, these here hills are dangerous to the unprepared." Pierrick led the distraught woman to Brasdel and remanded her to the custody of the Shrine of the White Lady. Battle Sister Rebecca Formen treated her for minor cuts and bruises, but was unable to do anything for the woman's blindness. It was during Sister Formen's examination that the woman gave her name and demanded "a courier be sent to the United Realms, with news of her location." Suspecting that the woman was delirious, Sister Formen administered a sedative to help Catherwood sleep. "Lady Catherwood has been through an ordeal," said Sister Formen. "From what she told me, she was part of a delegation from Thelgaard traveling to attend some meeting in Palanthas. She reported hearing sounds of struggle, but due to her blindness could not see who or what attacked her party. She kept going on and on about this 'United Realms' organization to which she claimed to belong. As a precautionary measure I sent a runner to Thelgaard to seek out Lady Catherwood's family. Perhaps they can shed some light on the situation." Anyone with information as to the identities of the assailants is urged to contact Constable Braden in Brasdel."
