Palanthas - Over the past month the famed ghostship, the Palanthas Star has been in the forefront of the news. It has caused lots of contention among the people of Palanthas, some who view it as the hand of righteousness, but others the fist of death. The Palanthas Herald wants to know "What do you think of the Emperor's decision not to rescind the bounty on the Palanthas Star?"

Santhia de Droka, Ambassador for the Minotaur Empire said:
"Your Emperor has done a just and honorable thing. These ghosts are a menace that should be stopped; in fact Emperor Faros has ships out scouring minotaur territory with just that purpose in mind and has also offered a bounty on the ghost ship."

Lady Harriet Walter, Palanthas Noble had these words:
"This maneuver is just the Emperor trying to play nice with the horned beasts, whom it seems he fears. The only crime the ghost ship has committed is saving peoples lives, a crime we all wish more people would do."

Brion James, a 30 year longshoreman told the Herald:
"Don't you worry surrah, theys not gonna catch the Star! Twould be easier to catcha real star. The gods watch over them like the Star watches over us."

Joles Pynterkin, silk merchant and importer offered these words:
"Emperor Markham is right not to allow this ship to do as it pleases. We can't have it interrupting honest business, it would cut into profits."

John Hunter, Captain of the Flaming sword let known his feelings:
"I don't care if the Emperor takes the Flaming Sword away from me and locks me in his dungeon. The people have a right to know that the Palanthas Star and her crew are heroes and are deserving of our respect, plain and simple. My crew and I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for these wanted felons, nor would many others who have been saved down through the many years. The Emperor is just plain wrong"
