Morning Watch falling 24 ![]() Senator's Son's Death Shrouded In Mysteryby Tauren Kai-Jere, Staff Writer Palanthas - The 16-year-old son of Palanthas Senator William uth Pinkine was found dead in his bedroom Bracha morning with the blade of a dagger lodged in his stomach, said the City Guard. The body of Thomas uth Pinkine was discovered by a servant trying to rouse the young man for brunch around half past Fourth Watch that same morning. City Guard officials said that there were no signs of foul play. However, an anonymous source at the Palanthas City Morgue said he thought the lack of excess blood from the stab wound was atypical of a dagger wound of this nature. "It definitely warrants closer investigation," said the source. The City Guard said they will not brand Pinkine's death as suspicious just yet. "This case is being investigated as a suicide," said Commander Richard uth Koeckert of the City Guard. "Everything else is speculation until we see the final report." A final mortician's report will not be issued by the city until a mystical diviner hired by the Pinkine family has had an opportunity to study the dagger used in the stabbing. The diviner will be working with the City Guard and the Palanthas City Morgue, said Pinkine family spokesman Norman Aragar. "Right now, the Pinkines need to concentrate on getting through this difficult time," Aragar said. "Senator Pinkine will be taking a leave of absence from the Senate until his son has been properly buried." |
