Editor's Note: This week kicks off a series of articles written by our resident fashion guru, Benathalis who will give the citizens of Palanthas tips on fashion and etiquette.

Listen ye humans. The coming of the banquet to honor the day of birth celebration of one of Selinda Du Chagne, daughter of Lord Regent Bakkard du Chagne, is near. You don't want to look like the normal human peasants do you? Let me tell you how to dress like elven royalty.

First you must make sure to plan out your outfit and make sure it matches. Make sure that the outfit is something an elf would ware. Remember that an elf wouldn't be caught dead wearing just any breeches. He would go with the Qualenesti style dyed deep forest green. Next up are the tunics, for you humans you can probably get away with any plain old white sailor's tunic.

If you wish to go with the complete package you will have to get a silk elvish tunic custom tailored for your human shoulders. Now you may think a tunic completes the outfit but no you must have a doublet. I suggest you go with a brown doublet made from silk or a cheaper material if you must.

Now that is the base of your outfit but we can't forget to accessorize. Go with a light forest green hose and dark forest green shoes to match your breeches. You can stop there if you want but you will still look like a plain old human. So if you want the fool elven look you must also have a forest green cloak finished off with a nice emerald leaf broche.

So now you should look as nice as a human can. That is it for this week my human friends. Next I will teach you the elven way to act at the banquet.
