The Battle of Beckart's Cut was a battle between the Knights of Solamnia and the Knights of Neraka, which was the culmination of a long siege of the city of Sanction. The Solamnic Knights led a charge out of Sanction and into the unprepared masses of Dark Knights, in a bid to break the long running siege and claim victory.

The Knights of Neraka broke from their lines and fled, however the young girl Mina appeared and rallied the remaining troops. Mina ordered the loyal troops to cut down their fleeing brothers, and then turn upon the Solamnics. Mina's loyalists killed so many Nerakan knights who were fleeing that they choked the pass that would have allowed the Solamnics to flee the area. The Knights of Neraka that served under Mina then completely routed the Solamnic Knights and claimed the final victory.
