Bahn Rakyne (? AC – ? AC) was a male Minotaur who was a priest of Shinare and the head of the Merchant League of the Imperial League. Being the minotaur in charge of all trade within the League, Bahn was arguably the second most powerful minotaur in the entire League, behind the Emperor of the Imperial League himself. Bahn controlled the Merchant League utterly, allowing no major decision to be made without his express approval.

The priest gained the role of head merchant from his father, as the role had been handed down from generation to generation as a hereditary title of the Rakynes. Bahn inspired loyalty in his fellow merchants and often rewarded those who followed Shinare over those that didn't. Bahn rarely appeared in public, since he knew he had enemies amongst the followers of Sargonnas, as well as enemies in the Imperial Senate. He often hired adventurers to serve as his bodyguards, and took care of those who served him loyally.
