VandoormArticle written by UzielVandoorm (? AC – 358 AC) was a male Human who was a fighter who had originally served in the Whitestone forces during the War of the Lance. Following the war, he took up with some fellow campaigners, forming their own mercenary band. The mercenary was heavily muscular, with a broad face and long straggly hair. His nose had been broken in several places over the years, and he was of average height for a human.
In 358 AC in the city of Kalaman, he ran into Teldin Moore, who he had served with during the war, offering Teldin a place in his company, who were on their way to Palanthas. Teldin accepted (as did his otherworldly companion), and the mercenary company travelled to the outskirts of Palanthas, where they revealed their true colors by threatening Teldin and demanding a mysterious cloak that they had been hired to acquire. Teldin's otherworldly companion used strange magic sticks to keep the mercenaries at bay, and they then fled into the city. A short while after, Vandoorm and his men reported their failure to capture Teldin to their offworlder employers, who set about killing the entire company. References
