BatorArticle written by UzielBator (? AC - 356 AC) was a male Merkitsa Elf and a member of the Tiger Clan. A strong warrior with an aggressive disposition, Bator was a loyal blade to the shaman Ulan. In 356 AC, he encountered and killed a small tribe of Goblins in the Tamire with a comrade, as he was tracking the elves Maraghiz and Sulai. The warrior was under orders to learn if Maraghiz was a true shaman, and to kill him and prevent his return from the clan if he was, so that Ulan could remain as shaman.
Maraghiz told Bator of a vision that he received from the clan's Quoyai about a great flying ship, and Sulai reminded Bator that if this vision was true it would prove her brother was the true shaman of their people. The elves met and aided a young man who claimed to be an offworlder reach his ship, thereby proving the validity of Maraghiz's vision. Bator and his comrade attacked Maraghiz and Sulai, revealing that they served Ulan. However the intervention of another offworlder saved them, as the offworlder cast a wall of fire around the pair, killing Bator and his comrade. References
