Blood Cup

Blood Cup is an area of water in the Northeastern part of the Blood Sea of Istar. It is east of Saifhum and west of Mithas. Jellyfish and aquatic violet ochre jellies are common here.

The site was also a place of numerous navel battles between Minotaurs and pirates. By the years of the War of the Lance it was mostly used as neutral territory. Below the surface lies many sunken Ships including the Blood Sea Bounty, the Golden Sailfish, the Felicia's Dream, and the Red Roland. On the surface, somewhere in Blood Cup is the Mire.

Pre War of the Lance

In the years prior to the War of the Lance, a giant black octopus was responsible for sinking many of the ships in the Blood Cup.

Age of Mortals

The Sea Dragon Brynseldimer made his lair in Blood Cup prior to making his home in the Southern Courrain Ocean and terrorizing the Dimernesti Elves.
