Snonk (? AC - ? AC) was a male Hobgoblin that was the leader of a tribe of hobs that dwelt in the realm of Old Aurim. The hobgoblin leader was a powerfully built hob, who was greatly respected as a hunter and warrior by his tribe, and was betrothed to the female Olob. In 357 AC, Snonk returned to his tribe with a great slug, and was heralded yet again as the mighty hunter. However the praise of his tribe annoyed the young hob Feh who went off in disgust.

Feh returned and used his newfound magical powers to impress the tribe, and then summarily exiled Snonk, forcing the hunter out of the village. Olob chose to be with Feh instead, and Snonk left to find the pundit Hanuk. The pundit told Snonk about the flaw in Feh's new power, so the leader returned to his tribe and told them that whilst Snonk could defeat anything in front of him.. he was vulnerable to anything behind him.

Safe in the knowledge that the tribe could beat Feh if he ever returned, they happily reinstated Snonk as their popular leader once more... and Olob sidled up to him again.
