Cantavian

Article written by Uziel

Cantavian (? AC - 357 AC) was a male Minotaur that was a general of the Legions of Eragas, and the cousin of Axantheas. The minotaur was a highly skilled fighter and had designs on the throne of the Imperial League. In 357 AC, he told the Emperor of the Imperial League that he could form a unit as skilled as Legion Imperius and every bit as loyal within months, which elicited an arena challenge from one of the chief officers of Legion Imperius.

Cantavian slew his opponent Platius in the arena, and then on telling his subordinate Quillian about his desire to become the chosen servant of Erestem, he killed his loyal officer as well. Shortly thereafter, Cantavian located and entered the temple of Erestem, where he forced the priests to show him how to contact the goddess. The foolish general pledged his service to Erestem, however the idol of the goddess instead crushed and annihilated the general with her power, obviously choosing to refuse the cousin of Axantheas from being her chosen servant.
