Karranus (? AC - 357 AC) was a male Minotaur who was an officer in the Legions of Eragas and had been charged with bringing the two traitors, Griffin and Skrum to justice for desertion from the army of the Imperial League. The minotaur was arrogant and headstrong, had a violent nature and treated all non-minotaurs with complete disdain.

In 357 AC, Karranus journeyed to Northern Hosk with several of his subordinates to retrieve the traitors, Skrum and Griffin, to face justice for desertion. He commandeered a ship from the Glass Sailors, killing the captain and any sailors fool enough to question his authority. With his two soldiers, Nordos and Zamere, he enforced his harsh rule over the Glass Sailors, forcing them to pursue the ship that the traitors were on. Eventually Karranus caught up with the traitors and their companions in the caves of the Silver Dragons, where he discovered his cousin Hester, was also a companion of the traitors. Karranus duelled with his cousin and was killed.
