Tritons are an aquatic race. Their legs are silvery-blue scaled legs that end in fins. Tritons upper bodies are silver. Their hair tends to be blue-green.

By 426 AC, tritons were in a large war with the Sahuagin. This war took much of their resources. It is unknown whether the war was with the triton colony near Watermere or much more of the race. Tritons did attend both conclaves of aquatic races in 426 AC and in the second one were eager to form allies.

The Tritons Near Watermere

On the southeastern border of Watermere and the northern border of Wobmachgloonestu is a colony of tritons. The tritons there are ruled by a king and queen. The colony respects their Dargonesti Elf neighbors. The Merfolk of Machunestoo lost some of the tritons' respect for their squabbles about the Corridor of Glory. Prior to the Chaos War there were about a thousand tritons living in the colony. After the Chaos War, Watermere sent out ambassadors to nearby aquatic races and helped strengthened the bonds between the Sea Elves and the tritons.
