Imperial Family

The Imperial Family is the royal family of the Imperial League, and the ruling caste of the empire. The family is headed by the Emperor of the Imperial League, but includes both direct and extended family members, many of whom hold important government positions. The Imperial Family are subject to law, same as anyone else in the empire, however their position and position in society, means that most cases brought against them never go to trial. Only the most severe cases, or those that could bring harm to the Emperor, even result in true punishment for a member of the Imperial Family.
