Rebels

The Rebels were part of the Children of Aurim, and were a group of refugees from the province of Styrllia that were led out of the Aurim Empire by Kristophus directly after the Great Destruction.

During the trek to find a new home, many problems and dangers were encountered and a number of the people grew restless and even openly revolted against having Kristophus as leader. The Rebels were the followers of Kristophus that attempted to sway Kristophus from his path, or even openly revolt against him as leader. These followers were punished by Kristophus and his guards, and had their property seized from them, and were made into virtual slaves to the Loyal Families.

On founding the town of Kristophan, the Rebels suffered under Kristophus' rule and almost welcomed the arrival of the Minotaurs, who put Kristophus and many of the Loyal Families to the sword. However the Rebels soon found that they were merely swapping one master for another, and most remained slaves under in the new Imperial League.
