Imperial Ancestral Caretaker

The Imperial Ancestral Caretaker is a hereditary title of the Nylgai Hadirnoe that is held by the members of the Strompdal Family. The position is unusual in that it is the only one outside of the clan-based system of the Nylgai and is a revered role. The Imperial Ancestral Caretakers prepare the dead of the Chieftain's Clan for burial, as well as organise executions of members of the Chieftain's Clan who have been found guilty of treason.

The royal dwarves do not want to foul themselves by dealing with the Outcasts, and so this position came about long ago, by instituting the noble Strompdal Family to take on the duty instead.
