War Clan

The War Clan is one of the many clans of the Nylgai Hadirnoe. The clan is responsible for the security of the OdderRhing, and serves as the army of the dwarves. Only members of the War Clan can serve as soldiers or guards, and to ensure they have healthy numbers at all times, they have adoption pacts with all the other clans, even including the Outcasts.

The other clans offer suitable children to serve in their ranks, in exchange for protection. The protection that is purchased, is in addition to the taxes that the clans must pay at the decree of the High King to maintain the army. The security of the clans and the nation is chargable service, and the rich are always taken care of first.
