Outcasts

The Outcasts are one of the many clans of the Nylgai Hadirnoe. The clan is responsible for burying the dead, cleaning waste and cutting wood on the surface. They also are the only dwarves who openly trade with anyone on the surface, and have been used to spy on the Disir and learn fragments of their tongue, Dis.

The members of the Outcast clan are generally shunned by all other clans of the Nylgai Hadirnoe, and they are only dealt with on the most rare of occasions. The only clan that deals openly with the Outcasts is the War Clan, who often adopts a member out of the Outcasts to serve in their ranks.

Strangely enough, the Outcasts are used to their lot in life, and carry out their duties without complaint, even though they are treated poorly by the rest of their kind.
