Xogat

A Xogat is a large glass skimmer that is used commonly by the Glass Sailors of the Shining Lands to traverse their realm. They are roughly the size of a small warship and use outrigger arms that are attached to steel runners fitted with oiled pads to "sail" over the uneven glass of the realm. Large sails billowed out to either side of the vessel. There was a singular steel runner based at the prow and two more based on either side of the stern, which were all controlled by the tiller.

A Xogat could safely hold approximately about twenty crewmembers, and a handful of additional passengers.

Sailing the Shining Lands is a risky venture at the best of times, and the skimmers can traverse almost any part of the realm, except for the areas that are thoroughly choked with black sand.
