Article written by Uziel

Ghashai (? AC - 425 AC) was a male Hobgoblin that was part of the Mokuti tribe of Old Aurim, and later became the chieftain of the tribe, and also the general of the hobgoblin army that served Maladar an-Desh. Ghashai was a physically huge hobgoblin warrior, who normally wore a suit of steel plate and wielded a double-bladed war axe. Ghashai was second in the tribe to the shaman Ukku, however with the shaman's demise at the hands of Maladar an-Desh, he became the chieftain.

On becoming chieftain, Ghashai pledged his loyalty and that of the Mokuti tribe to Maladar, offering to serve in his new army. The hobgoblin taught discipline to the soldiers under his command, and formed them into an impressive fighting unit that devastated Bishan with the aid of Maladar's magic, and then massacred the folk of Hyo-khal.

Ghashai led his hobgoblin army on an assault on Suluk, at the orders of Maladar. However whilst the brave general fought against the Rainwarders, his treacherous master unleashed magic that destroyed the army of Suluk, as well as that of the hobgoblins. Ghashai was lost amidst the rubble of Suluk.
