Bak-su-chagArticle written by UzielBak-su-chag was a monstrous worm that resided in Old Aurim. The huge creature was also known as the Hunter of the Deep and had been magically charmed by the Hobgoblin shaman Ukku. In 425 AC, Ukku called on Bak-su-chag to destroy Maladar an-Desh when he came to the ruins of Sha Moku and faced the hobgoblins. However Maladar in turn charmed Bak-su-chag, turning the worm onto Ukku and killing him, before setting the great beast free to return to the depths. Bak-su-chag had sickly green flesh, and black veins that throbbed beneath the surface of its flesh. Small barbed hooks served as its legs, and a fanged sucker was its mouth. The worm was eyeless, but had a heightened sense of smell and movement with which it tracked its prey, through use of feelers near its mouth. Bak-su-chag was over a hundred feet in length, and had a constant odor of rotting flesh about it. References
