Tanda HighcloverArticle written by Uziel & DarcwulfTanda Highclover (? AC - ? AC) was a female Marakai that was the daughter of elder Yale Highclover. Tanda was a strong-willed young kender that took an immediate dislike to The Teacher when he appeared in the Marak Valleys with promises to convert the kender into a stronger people. When the Teacher asked all the kender to attend him at Starshimmer Lake for a ceremony, Tanda forced her father and her tribe to stay behind in their valley, and in turn saved her people from being transformed into Shadow-Fiends.
In 424 AC, Tanda helped Barreth Forlo and his companions in reaching Starshimmer Lake, and aided in their fight against The Teacher and the Shadow-Fiends. At the close of the battle, she turned away in disgust from Forlo and his friends, when they executed the Teacher. She was described as being lean and graceful, and was often seen wielding a Chapak. Tanda had personally given herself the task of saving and uniting all the remaining kender in the Marak Valleys, in the hope that her people could flourish once more. References
