Yale HighcloverArticle written by UzielYale Highclover (? AC - ? AC) was a male Marakai who was one of the elders of the Marak kender. He was respected amongst his people and with the arrival of the Black Dragon Gloomwing to the Steamwall Mountains, he became one of the few kender to speak with and seemingly befriend the dragon.
In 424 AC, when Gloomwing brought The Teacher to perform a ritual to make the kender stronger, Yale was the only elder not to bring his tribe to Starshimmer Lake for the ceremony, at the behest of his daughter Tanda Highclover. This resistance saved his life and that of his people, when he learnt that those at the lake were transformed into Shadow-Fiends, and he became the sole surviving elder of his people. Yale was described as old by 424 AC, and having closely cropped white hair, and a scar that went from the edge of his jaw up to his temple. He was also missing half of his right ear, presumably from the same wound that had left him scarred. References
