SkritArticle written by UzielSkrit are large beetles that live on the Tamire in Northern Hosk and possess a domed carapace and a long stinger. They are yellow to brown in color, and hide amongst rocks and boulders to ambush their prey. Skrit are normally around five to eight feet in length, and have a bite that can paralyse their victims.
Skrit are normally solitary hunters that scour the desert and grasslands. Female skrit can be distinguished from male skrit, only by the length of their tails (which is shorter for females). Females beat their tails against rocks to alert males that they are ready to mate, otherwise skrit always remain alone. Their carapace is near impenetrable and serves as armor or a home for other desert critters, since it lasts for years after a skrit has passed away. References
