High WarriorArticle written by AmbroThe High Warrior or the Lord High Warrior is one of the High Knight positions of the Knights of Solamnia. The High Warrior is the leader of the Order of the Crown and leads an Army of about 48,000 men when the knights are at full strength. A High Warrior is elected by his order. All Knights of the Crown that can make it to the Whitestone Glade on Sancrist travel there. The knights are all allowed to make one nomination of any knight that is present. The three knights with the most nominations then are allowed to speak. All the Crown Knights then vote in private and the nominee with the most votes becomes the new High Warrior. Past High WarriorsQuintayne Fogorner (? AC – 392 AC) was the High Warrior at the time of Gunthar Uth Wistan's death. Current High WarriorUnknown Kender TalesThere have been two sources that have stated that two Knights of the Rose have served as High Warriors, but a newer source has stated that only in the time before the War of the Lance has a High Knight not been of the correct order. Oswal of Baxtrey is assumed to have been a High Justice. Also, Olthar Uth Wistan was said to be the High Warrior during Loren Soth's trial. Since we know that the High Justice at this time was Adam Caladen it can't be said that he was really a High Justice. References
