Steward of the Crown

Steward of the Crown is the forth rank and is after Sergeant of the Crown in the Order of the Crown. It is the rank of Subcaptain within the order. A Steward of the Crown is usually in command of a Company of two other knights and ten men-at-arms. Usually after achieving this rank a knight will make the decision of attempting to enter the Order of the Sword before advancing further or staying in the Order of the Crown.
