Crown Postulant

Crown Postulant is the first rank of the Knight of the Crown. It is the rank held by someone newly knighted. Most knights do not hold this rank long since they normally prove themselves worthy of a higher rank quickly. Some squires have even proved themselves worthy of a higher rank and when knighted skip this rank.
