Slave Market (Istar)

The slave market in the Lordcity of Istar was located just northeast of the Marketplace (Istar). The outer part of the market was surrounded by pens made out of iron bars. In center of the market was a tall stone platform where the slave auctions were done weekly.

The slave market was closed in 140 PC when slavery was banned, but reopened in 15 PC. The governor of the slave market prior to the Cataclysm was Barak.

Kender Tales

An older map showed the slave market of the city as being connected to the eastern side of the marketplace. Another source said it stood at the southeast corner of the marketplace.
