Honor of the Sword

The Honor of the Sword is a ceremony of the Knights of Solamnia. If a knight is found guilty of committing a heinous act against the Solamnic Oath and the Measure they are offered the chance to go through the Honor of the Sword. The ceremony is a ritual suicide, but the knight's and his family's honor is retained. It is voluntary, but refusal to go through the ceremony means the knight will be outcast from the knighthood and all his titles and land awarded to him by the knighthood will be taken.
