Amaguik are the half-men, half-wolf spirits (known also as spirit-wolves) that dwell in the Panak Desert. The Amaguik are were once Makau that were long ago slain and their spirits are normally tied to the world due to a need to exact vengeance.

The Amaguik will often serve as guardians to existing makau. They are slightly translucent, and appear as white wolves with razor sharp teeth, and are rumored to have a bite which can turn a person's blood to ice.
