Lord of Palanthas

After Sir Kinsaid was put in charge of Palanthas, he quickly wanted to bring order to the city, and began with the Thieves' Guild. On December 27, 417 AC, he ordered the destruction of the Thieves' Guild. The Guild was almost entirely wiped out in one night, except for a few members. The guild survivors would call this the Night of Black Hammers. The guild would attempt to have its revenge in 421 AC, but he survived the attack.

He shut down the city Senate and jailed the senators, but through the efforts of Katyana uth Mishakal, the Senate was reopened. Later in 421 AC, the Brothers of Freedom attempted to assassinate him. Vinkal Keenedge saved Sir Kinsaid's life, but his reign wouldn't last forever.

Shortly after the War of Souls in 422 AC, the Knights of Solamnia led a coup against the Dark Knights. In a single night, the entire city was freed. Elstone Kinsaid resisted, but he was killed in the battle. His sword Darkbringer was lost in the battle.
