Death SpidersArticle written by trogers81Death Spiders are magically altered spiders trained to kill any intruder. These intelligent spiders were created by the dark sorceress Asvoria 1000 years before the Cataclysm to serve as a guard for Cairngorn Keep and resided in a dead glade near the southern end.
These monstrous creatures created webs that were stronger than swords and could even withstand the strength of a young dragon. When originally created years ago, their bites were meant to kill instantly. As the years passed, their poison lessened, instantly numbing the victim instead of killing. The Death Spiders were used against the Copper Dragon Raedon as he came to stop the sorceress Asvoria from being brought back to life. He escaped using his acid which slowly eroded the webs and killed the Death Spiders. References
