BolthorArticle written by trogers81Bolthor (? AC - 354 AC) was the unofficial leader of the shantytown of Ravenscar. This half-ogre was a vicious and suspicious of all. To that end, he hired two Kagonesti bodyguards named Kuruk and Shiriki, ex-fighters in the War of the Lance.
Bolthor was also a bloodthirsty connoisseur of animal fighting. He had a business deal with Maddoc, the Black Robed Wizard of Cairngorn Keep. If Bolthor supplied men and protection for the keep, Maddoc would give Bolthor monsters for his fighting arena, The Pit. He also paid a young centaur, Ayanti to watch over the animals, the normal and the magically altered beast. This business deal went well until Davyn and the Young Adventurers entered Ravenscar, searching for information on Maddoc. Bolthor ordered the young heroes thrown in the Pit. The Heroes fought out and retreated from the battle, embarrassing his two bodyguards. The caretaker, Ayanti, offered to hide the heroes in the animal barn. Bolthor and his bodyguards followed them and set the barn on fire. The young heroes let the animals loose out of the barn, where they could kill as they please and they found the person who had been making them fight, Bolthor. Bolthor was killed and ripped apart by the magically altered beast of the Pit. References
