Flower Rocks

The Flower Rocks are a series of rocky mounts located in the Bay of Istar. Ships traveling could moor here to weather a storm that might be approaching. The moorings, great iron posts, were sunk into the rocks for ships many centuries prior to 290 PC. There was deep water all the way to the Flower Rocks, allowing for deep-hulled ships to get right up next to them. A ship can sail through them, but it is narrow with high walls, very similar to a canyon.
