Vemior (? PC - 280 PC) was the last Emperor of Istar for the Empire of Istar in 280 PC, and considered a warlord-tyrant. He was the most wasteful of all the past Emperors. He wasted many lives in needless battles, that led the Knights of Solamnia to threaten to withdraw their support for Istar. First Son Symeon I confronted Vemior, and asked him to either be overthrown or abdicate. Vemior decided to drink poison wine rather than abdicate, which then led Symeon I to claim the throne as the first Kingpriest.
