Galeric (? PC - ? PC) was the first King of Istar. He formed the Kingdom of Istar in 962 PC after he united some of the other surrounding city-states. The church of Paladine threw their full support behind him and the newly formed kingdom. Galeric also appointed the First Son of the Istaran Church to be his foremost advisor, even over the Emissary of High Sorcery.
