Marak Valleys

The Marak Valleys are a series of five small isolated valleys located on the western side of the Steamwall Mountains, just northwards of Thenol. Prior to the Great Destruction, the valleys were verdant and green, filled with the carefree Marak Kender. However the Great Destruction brought about the sundering of many of the villages under landslides, ash rains over the land, and frequent earthquakes.

The rivers in the Marak Valleys now run grey and thick with ash, and the trees of the realm are stunted and ugly.
