Master of the Tower of Istar

The Master of the Tower of Istar was the leader of the Wizards of High Sorcery at the Tower of High Sorcery at Istar. Traditionally only White Robes took this role at the tower at Istar. This changed with Leciane do Cirica. Before the Cataclysm, the master of the tower was also the Conclave's envoy to the court of the Kingpriest.

Statues of the past masters were in the Statuary and on the landings surrounding the central stairway in the tower.

Past Masters of the Tower of Istar

Asanta (circa 2550 PC) was the Wizard that decided the location of the tower and led the spell to raise it.

Unknown number of Masters.

Marwort (circa 61 PC – 21 PC) was greatly disliked for usually siding with the Kingpriest over the Conclave.

Leciane do Cirica (21 PC – 20 PC) was chosen by the Conclave as a compromise between the orders after Marwort. She was the last Master of the tower before the Cataclysm.

Current Master of the Tower of Istar

After the War of Souls, Nuitari restored the tower and in 422 AC Mina raised the tower from the bottom of the ocean. It became known as the Tower of the Blood Sea. While a master has not been named the Caretaker of the Tower is Basalt Darkeye.
