Interregnum

The Interregnum began following the death of Ardosean III in 183 PC, and would last for the next two years. This was the result of the high clerics not being able to choose a successor, since Ardosean III never named an heir to the throne. Factional fighting between the clerics shoot the Holy Empire to its core, and serious riots took place in Istar in 181 PC. The clerics were scared by these riots, so they set aside their differences and chose Hysolar to become the next Kingpriest.
