Ardosean II (? PC - 189 PC) was a former Kingpriest of Istar who was crowned after Ardosean I abdicated from the throne in 198 PC. Ardosean II had to rule an Empire that had just closed all the temples to the evil gods and executed their Clerics. In 197 PC, Ardosean II declared war against Seldjuk and Falthana. By 196 PC, Seldjuk surrendered and became a province of the Empire. Falthana would hold out until 191 PC, but would surrender and join the Empire. Ardosean II died suddenly in 189 PC, and rule fell back to Ardosean I. Upon Ardosean II's death, a riot broke out in Istar. The riot would last for five days before the imperial army became involved. This unrest was hence called the Night of Ten Thousand Spears. References
