Eragas the Brutish (? PC - ? AC) was a male Minotaur that led an expedition from Ansalon across the seas to the continent of Taladas shortly after the Cataclysm. The minotaur led his fleet ashore at the new settlement of Kristophan and subjugated the Humans living there. He quickly claimed the area of New Styrllia and announced himself the emperor of his newly formed Imperial League.

Eragas enforced minotaur law, stating that any challengers to his rule could face him in the Imperial Arena. He did indeed have a number of challengers, and following besting them all in duels to the death, he settled into his role as Emperor of the Imperial League. The mighty Eragas then began further establishing his realm and carried the fight personally to the areas surrounding New Styrllia. Whilst he fell in battle to a force of humans, he had established a good foundation for his new empire, and was honored by the minotaurs as a hero and champion of his people. Because of the respect and high esteem that the minotaurs held Eragas in, his son Ambeoutin I was placed on the throne to complete his father's work without a single opposing voice.
