Vinlans is one one of the five great cities of the Imperial League, and is located on the central eastern fringes of the region of Highvale. The city is set southeast of Vaspurkan and southwest of Thallas, directly eastwards of the Sikoni Mountains. It is the smallest of the five great cities, and primarily focussed on agriculture. Vinlans is the primary source of crops for the empire, and is well known for its fine wines and grapes. The city was originally built by the Human refugees of Styrllia, who were fleeing the devastation of the Aurim Empire during the Great Destruction. However when the Minotaurs claimed and founded the Imperial League, Vinlans became one of their key cities in the new empire. The residents of Vinlans are primarily all farmers, or those involved in agricultural ventures. They are often viewed as hicks or simple-minded by the other folk of the League, but are quite far from it. There are numerous bars, taverns and inns in Vinlans, however it is a fairly laid back place, happy to let all the excitement and bustling activity occur in other cities instead. References
