Whispershade was a male Black Dragon and a servant of the Faceless Brethren. The dragon was seventy feet in length, with red eyes and midnight scales that made him almost invisible at night. Whispershade visited Coldhope Keep in 424 AC and abducted Essana Forlo and claimed the Hooded One at the behest of the Faceless Brethren. He then took Essana and the Hooded One back to the Brethren's headquarters in Neron before returning to his lair.
