Akan of HighvaleArticle written by Uziel
Akan of Highvale (? AC – 424 AC) was a male Minotaur who was a regional lord of the Imperial League. He was not a nobleman by birth, but had somehow worked his way into the inner circle and been bestowed with the title of count. It was suspected in many circles that he was blackmailing Ambeoutin XII, Emperor of the Imperial League, which is how he rose to power. His symbol was of a black star on a blue field. With the death of the emperor in 424 AC, Akan made a bid for the throne, attempting to win over many of the other regional lords. With the death of one of his rivals, Shold Ar-Torath, at the hands of his other rival, Rekhaz An-Thurn, Akan secured his support further. He travelled to Vinlans to gain enough support to make a direct claim on the throne, however he was cut down by Rekhaz, as the other contender wished to make a similar claim. References
